In March and April if you book the large shepherds hut for two or more nights you get the small hut free.
This secret hideaway is on a beautiful and tranquil rural estate, part of Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum, near Halland, East Sussex. Our two shepherd huts have everything you need for a romantic getaway or a family adventure that you will wish could last forever.
The Rolling Downs shepherd huts are outdoor living with a twist – luxury, comfort, beautiful countryside and the great outdoors. Our two huts can sleep up to four adults and two young children. Our main hut has a bespoke kitchen area and thoughtfully designed shower room. It has everything you could need!
A wind turbine with a solar panel is sited elegantly next to the shepherd huts and provides all the power needed for an eco-friendly experience making this a sustainable holiday choice.

‘Genius shepherds huts. One of the best holidays we’ve had, certainly the best camping experience! Wonderfully private and quiet. Kids loved it and want to come back asap. Delicious dinner from the Buttercup Cafe in Lewes delivered to us in Indian tiffin boxes. We were so lucky to see 9 deer one evening with no-one else around. Magical………… Found a fossil in the field – Fantastic to have the children’s playground all to ourselves in the evening, thank you so much for an awesome time, we will return!’
